Girls split double header, boys help SSA remain undefeated

The Lady Jays split a double header at home against Steel Valley today winning the first by a final of 13-6 and dropping the second game by a point, 15-14. Pitching problems are clearly the story for Jeannette this season, walking 12 in today's match up, and doubling that to 24 walks in yesterdays loss to East Allegheny. The girls fall to 3-6 in the section and 4-7 overall.

Down at Clarkson Field, Shady Side Academy proved exactly why they are sitting on the top of the section and undefeated with a 16-0 blow out of the Hawks. Jeannette slides to 3-7 in section play and 4-8 overall.
