Struggles continue for Jeannette

The search continues for a pitcher for the Lady Jays as they drop another game, losing 12-7 yesterday to Southmoreland. The loss drops Jeannette to a 1-3 section record and 2-4 overall.

But the pressure to produce only increases on the coaching staff with only 10 days left and still eight games to get in the books, and LORD knows..Mother Nature hasn't been cooperating either.

BASEBALL: Things weren't much better down at Clarkson field as the boys struggled against yet another outstanding Riverview pitcher. Jeannette managed two runs late in the game but as the story goes....too little too late. Riverview won by a final score of 10-2 and dropped Jeannette to a 1-4 section record, 2-5 overall.
