Four Hawks honored with Trib's Terrific 25

Jeannette's Demetrious Cox along with runningback Jordan Edmunds, linemen Logan Hoak and tightend Brandon Krautz have all been named to the Tribune Review Westmoreland Terrific 25 list for 2011.

Cox, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound senior quarterback/safety shined offensively in the WPIAL Class AA playoffs, helping Jeannette reach Heinz Field to play Aliquippa in the finals.

He scored on 10 different occasions in the playoffs, including one at Heinz Field during the AA WPIAL Championships.

Cox completed 62 of 106 passes for 895 yards and nine touchdowns this season. He rushed for 1,270 yards and 22 touchdowns. He intercepted three passes and returned one for a touchdown.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR:

Dede's remarkable performance on the field has also earned him the Tribs Player of the Year award.
