Lady Jays Section Champs!

Three-peat section champs, sounds pretty nice to me, but a sweep of the Lady Centurions in the 2011/2012 season, ...makes it all the sweeter.

The Jeannette Lady Jayhawks, with a 62-61 dramatic finish at Greensburg Central Catholic, captured their third straight section championship and a sweep of their rival, Lady Centurions.

Junior Ciara Gregory lead all Lady Jays with 23 points while senior Dominique Hall landed 18 and sophomore Monique Redman, added 15.

Jeannette has one regular-season game remaining this Saturday at the Westmoreland County Hoopfest at Seton Hill where they'll face AAAA Hempfield.
