In Jayhawk History - November 4, 1977
The date was Friday November 4th, 1977 as the Jayhawks shut out the Penn Trafford Warriors 25-0 and were crowned champions of AAA's Keystone Conference. The Jayhawks offense racked up 344 total yards while the defense held P-T to a mere 33 total yards. Adam Bostick ran for a touchdown and he also threw a 17 yard touchdown strike to Greg Berry. Sam Procida led the rushing attack with 129 yards and a touchdown. Denmark Exchange Student Jorgen Hansen booted a field goal and kicked two extra points while Carmen Masciantonio was credited with a safety. Randy Williams and Don Detar also had excellent efforts in the victory.
