moments150On Friday September 30, 2005 the Jayhawks traveled to Brownsville to take on the Falcons.  Davonte Shannon gave the fans an early treat returning the opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. 

Mike Matt returned an interception 85 yards for a  touchdown and he also added a 12 yard scoring jaunt.  Nathan Roadman scored twice too, once on a 35 yard grab from Terrelle Pryor and another on plunge from one yard out.  Greg Parker, Rob James, Jerry Harris and TJ Burns added great plays in this 56-19 Interstate Conference victory for the Jayhawks!
